Welcome to the AMTS, one of the most elite Adrian Mole sites on the Internet.
The AMTS has moved to the brand new address of http://www.amts.f2s.com/.

Hopefully,
if you haven't read an Adrian Mole book, after reading this page, you will go
and do so! The Adrian Moles series
have been very popular in the UK and you are sure to find a copy of at least one
of the books in your local library. The
reason I have made this page is because I believe that not enough people have
read an Adrian Mole book. If you
have not done so, read this page and do so after!
Well, there are
currently 4 books in the series. These
are:
| The Secret Diary
of Adrian Mole Aged 13 ¾ | |
| The Growing
Pains of Adrian Mole (July 1989)
| True Confessions
of Adrian Albert Mole, Margaret Hilda Roberts and Susan Lilian Townsend
| Adrian Mole -
The Wilderness Years | |
| Adrian Mole - The Cappuccino Years |
There is also Adrian
Mole: from Minor to Major, a book that contains:
The complete text
of "The Secret Diary of Adrian Mole aged 13 3/4" and "The Growing
Pains of Adrian Mole" together with the selection of diaries, letters and
poems published in "The True Confessions of Adrian Albert Mole". In
addition there are 40 pages of diary extracts for 1989 and 1990.
The books are based
on the secret diary of a young British lad called Adrian Albert Mole.
Basically, you get to read the ‘secret’ diary of Adrian Mole.
Mole is no ordinary boy. From
Leicester, he has a strange set of parents, problems and indeed a strange life.
I won't go too much into the details of the book because it really is a
good read for the first time.
The newest book,
the Cappuccino Years came out at the end of 1999.
The official website for this book can be visited by going to http://www.adrianmole.co.uk/.
I have just completed reading the book and it lives up to the standard of
the previous books.
If you have seen the TV program The Simpsons, you will probably know that it is a successful
program. The reason for this, as
the writer of the show says, is "because there is something enjoyable for
everyone in the show - whether 8, or 88". The
same is true for Adrian Mole and his diaries.
I first read The Secret Diary of Adrian Mole at the age of 10.
My mum also read it at the same time and we both enjoyed it as much as
each other.
I, as an Adrian
Mole lover recommend you read the first book.
Some people opt to read the newest book, but I believe that to fully
enjoy the series, it is necessary to read the books in order.
That way, you are not confused by some of the older characters entering
the new novels, and you also get to know Adrian when he is young and as he
progresses through life.
Here
I have rated each book using the following system:
